Ashley believes that magic isn’t just for storybooks—it is a powerful force that can transform lives, uplift communities, and bring families together.

Ashley’s journey into the world of professional enchantment began where the magic is grandest: as a character performer at Disney Parks. There, she mastered the art of “theme-park quality” entertainment, learning firsthand how a single, high-fidelity interaction could create a memory that lasts a lifetime. In 2010, Ashley channeled that expertise and passion into founding The Fairy Godmother Events in California. Driven by a commitment to exceptional, immersive storytelling, she built a company renowned for its stunning, high-quality characters, musical acts, and whimsical experiences. Over more than a decade, her business became a beloved staple for families and corporate partners alike in the Sacramento region.

In 2022, Ashley brought her family—and her magical vision—to Ohio, establishing a new home base for The Fairy Godmother Events in the Dayton region. Since relocating, she has expanded her dream into the physical world with the opening of The Fairy Godmother’s Cottage and Clubhouse in Centerville, creating a permanent, whimsical sanctuary for celebrations of all kinds. Ashley’s ultimate vision has always extended beyond celebratory gatherings. Guided by the belief that every child deserves a moment of pure magic—especially during life’s most challenging chapters—she proudly established the Fairy Godmother Foundation Inc. This non-profit arm allows the magic to partner with local children’s hospitals, organizations, and community leaders to bring the healing power of joy, character visits, and uplifting philanthropy directly to vulnerable and brave young hearts.

Today, whether she is coaching her growing team of entertainers, collaborating on community boards, or designing new ways to spread wonder, Ashley remains dedicated to her original mission: making the world a little brighter, one magical moment at a time.

Queen of Finance

Ceili (Kale) Boston

Ceili balances operational rigor with creative strategy.

A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, she serves as the Director of Operations at 3 Axis Advisors, where she leads administrative and operational advances for the company that conducts data-driven research initiatives to address pharmaceutical supply chain inefficiencies. She also manages grant development and community outreach for the non-profit 46brooklyn Research. Beyond her corporate leadership, Ceili is a dedicated entrepreneur bridging the financial and holistic wellness worlds through Bostons Bookkeeping LLC and her healing arts business, Strawberry Lane Market. She is also a Reiki Master and Herbalist crafting natural remedies and tends to her own apiary.

This mission is near and dear to my heart. As a child, I spent lots of time in and out of hospitals and doctors’ offices with my mother as she was battling various rounds of cancer. Unfortunately, my Mom passed away after years of fighting when I was only 16 years old. Thinking back on that time in my life, I realize how important it is to feel like you have true support and a safe place to experience joy, even for little moments at a time. Each moment can make a difference, and that is exactly what this program will bring to families and their loved ones as they go through some of the hardest times of their lives.

Chris Blanchard

Chris Blanchard is an entrepreneur and sales leader based in the Cincinnati area.

He is the founder of HoverPoint Drones LLC and has built and scaled businesses across real estate, industrial capital equipment, and commercial drone services. Chris has spent his career forging lasting partnerships, navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, and closing commitments that move big initiatives forward. His experience scaling organizations from startup to sustained growth shapes his approach to turning bold visions into reality. He brings a builder’s mindset and an operator’s discipline to the Foundation’s mission. A father of three, he believes every kid deserves moments of real magic.

Shoshana Farrell

Shoshana Farrell is a marketing and go-to-market leader whose career has centered on turning vision into meaningful impact, helping organizations bring ideas to life through growth, commercialization, and market expansion.

She has led global initiatives with a hands-on, people-first approach grounded in both strategy and execution. Beyond corporate leadership, Shoshana is deeply passionate about coaching and empowering others, helping businesses turn vision into action, sharpen their strategy, and grow with intention. She believes the strongest organizations are built not only on performance but on compassion, connection, and the ability to make a difference in the lives of others.

Outside of work, Shoshana is a wife and mother of two, often found outdoors, walking & spending time with family.

Stacy Baker

Stacy Baker is a project manager with a passion for building strong relationships,

solving problems, and creating meaningful experiences. Outside of work, she is a mom to a spirited 4-year-old and loves spending time with her family, traveling, staying active, and playing sand volleyball. 

She is passionate about using her organizational skills, creativity, and heart for service to help create memories for children and their families.

Colleen Oakes

Colleen Oakes is the Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at the Montgomery County ADAMHS Board,

where she leads efforts to elevate behavioral health awareness and connect community members to vital resources. With a background in prevention, volunteer engagement, and coalition-building, she is passionate about creating meaningful impact through collaboration. Colleen holds a master’s degree in communications from the University of Dayton and is an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist. A proud Chicago native turned Daytonian, she spends most of her time with her husband and two young children, and is thrilled to help bring a little extra magic to kids who need it most.

Throughout his career, he has led marketing, communications, and business teams across North America, Europe, and Asia while partnering with executive leadership on growth, branding, and organizational transformation.

As Founder of FPW Marketing and President of Orange Eagle Marketing, Frank helps organizations develop practical strategies that connect vision to measurable outcomes. His experience spans business growth, team leadership, strategic planning, and building strong partnerships that create long-term success.

Beyond his professional career, Frank is committed to serving his community. He has served on nonprofit and charitable boards since 2016 and believes strongly in the power of organizations that create hope and opportunity for others. Frank is honored to support the Fairy Godmother Foundation and its mission of providing special healing experiences that bring joy, comfort, and lasting memories to children and families during challenging times.

I am the manager of the Child Life Division at Dayton Children’s Hospital.

I have been at Dayton Children’s for 24 years and absolutely love working there! I became a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) in 2007 and spent my time as a CCLS supporting patients on both the in-patient and out-patient units, with over 10 years in my role as a CCLS in medical imaging. Two years ago, I transitioned to the role of manager, and I am so honored to be part of a team that does such amazing work with patients and their families to help reduce the worries, anxiety, and stress that can happen in a hospital setting.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker

specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology. I bring over five years of experience in the field, supporting children and families across a variety of medical institutions. My work centers on walking alongside families through diagnosis, treatment, and beyond- helping them navigate uncertainty, cope with emotional challenges, and find moments of strength and connection.

Outside of my clinical work, I have always believed in the power of imagination and joy. I feel very passionate about the value of cultivating these moments within the hospital setting for our kids. Disney was always a huge part of my life growing up. I believe that love for magic has shaped how I show up for my patients- helping create spaces where they can laugh, play, and simply be kids. I am honored to have the opportunity to serve on this board and to lend my clinical knowledge to bring moments of wonder and light to families when they need it most.
